Hazrat Abdul Azim Holy Shrine to Host Quranic Programs on Last Days of Safar

IQNA – Various Quranic programs are going to be held at the holy mausoleum of Hazrat Abdul Azim Hassani (AS) in Rey, south of Tehran, during the last ten days of the lunar Hijri month of Safar.

Mutaz Aqaei, the director general of the Quranic affairs department of the holy shrine’s Astan (custodianship) said they include a Quran recitation circle at the Imam Khomeini (RA) Hall of the shrine on Saturday evening.  

Two prominent qaris, Mohammad Kazemi and Vahid Barati, will recite the Quran at the program and the Nur al-Sajedin group will perform Tawaheeh, he noted.

He said there will be other programs to be held during the ten-day period, including choral recitations, mourning rituals, elegy recitations and a special Quran recitation event on the 28th day of Safar (September 2).
